Cat Deeley who was raised in Birmingham, started her career at 14 when she entered a modeling competition at the NEC when the clothes show livecame to Birmingham, she got nine A grades at GCSE and four A levels when she was younger and she said that she was a tomboy, "never a girly girl". After her A levels she moved to London to seek her fame ad fortune. She was working in a pub doing a bit of modeling on the side, she was appearing in magazines and on catwalks for a couple of years before a home made video sent to the producers of MTV got her a job presenting MTV Hitlist and the amazing Amour which she took over from someone called Camila Raznovic and MTV had to change the setup because Cat was taller and could be on the bed easily so they gave her a sofa type thing with a mirror and that was pretty much it but it was the greatest show you could imagine thanks in no small part to the great portrail of Satans girlfriend by Cat. Cat works mainly for MTV these days doing Hitlist UK and bits here and there like filling in on Select and the Ibiza weekend she did. Those with out MTV got their first glimps of Cat in 1998 when she got the job of presenting SMTV and CD:UK. It takes a presenter of some brilliance to make Ant and Dec watchable but Cat does it with ease.

Cat came 7th in the 98 FHM top 100 women to which her responce was "Number seven! My god! Bloody Hell! Whos number six?" She said her worst moment when she was modeling was when she had to pretend to be Olivia Newton John with a young Sean Maguire (being John Travolta) where she had to wear tight pants and a leather jacket, hair all "boufed", standing in a pink "shake shack" with her leg up round his waist, of course I'm sure he loved it. Cat should have her own late night show for MTV soon, it'll probably be called "Cat" but I haven't heard much. She did say it was going to be done soon but that was last summer so she'll probably do it when she's finnished with SMTV. On the 11.1.99 Cat did her first interview on British TV when she was on TFI friday.
