As irrepressible Beverly Hills teen Cher, Rachel Blanchard brings her angelic looks and a superior yet caring attitude to the main character who's anything but CLUELESS. Full This season sees Cher every bit the flighty, glamorous socialite, dispensing cautionary words of advice to all her friends, making her wardrobe a top priority for all the right reasons, looking after her hard-driving lawyer dad, and continuing to take her education seriously (though her educational views may be somewhat skewed). Blanchard landed the coveted role of Cher after being hand-picked from hundreds of actresses. A Toronto native, Rachel's career was launched with a part in a McDonald's commercial. Her television series credits include Nickelodeon's supernatural anthology series Are You Afraid of the Dark?, a series regular role on the syndicated War of the Worlds, and the British series Chriss Cross. Her additional television credits include the telefilm Alex: The Life of a Child, and such Canadian productions as The Campbells, Katts and Dog, Glory Enough for All, Two for Joy and On My Own. In feature films, Blanchard starred in Iron Eagle IV with Louis Gossett, Jr., and the Canadian film Young Ivanhoe.
